I saw Todd Rundgrens Utopia perform this in 1974 at Winterland. (btw this is not a live album) It was the firt concert I'd seen where no amplifier's or other equipment was on the actual stage. Yet the sound was incredible. I have played this album many time's over the year's.Hundreds of times. I bought this copy to refresh my bass guitar chop's. Utopia was a talented outfit, and fit Rundgren well. Consider Back To The Bars : every solo Rundgren number performed by Utopia (Kasim Sulton, bass & vocals; Roger Powell, keyboards & vocals; Willie Wilcox, drums & vocals) got their thermostats adjusted up.

Rundgren’s manager also said Powell suffered from hearing loss. While some of the pixie dust may be off the reunion with the absence of the popular Powell, Rundgren fans online seemed fired up to attend an all-Utopia concert. Rundgren noted that the band and its original fans weren’t exactly spring chickens.
